THE AWAKENING PROJECT
Awakening Project is a transformative week of discipleship and spiritual nourishment for college students and emerging adults. Young people and the people who love them from across the United States (and sometimes the world) meet in Wilmore, KY (site of the 2023 Asbury Outpouring) to hear amazing Christian leaders, worship, attend breakout sessions on myriad theological topics, and enjoy being in spiritual community with one another. We have a lot of fun along the way!
When: May 18-22, 2026. We will leave in the afternoon on Sunday, May 17 and arrive back in Auburn on the evening of Friday, May 22.
Where: Asbury University in Wilmore, KY
Who: Current college students or people in the college-early 20s stage of life.
Cost: $100 (for your Awakening Project fees, lodging, meals during the conference, and travel).
*We never want cost to be a barrier for students to attend camp. If you have any hesitation or if cost would be a barrier, we have scholarships available. Please contact Campbell at campbell@embraceauburn.org.
What to Expect:
Sunday, May 17: We'll depart together in a van (or two!) after church and stay at a hotel in Tennessee that evening.
Monday, May 18: We'll head to Wilmore, KY and check in at the conference (and get settled in our rooms). The Awakening Project conference starts that afternoon and will go through Thursday evening (check out the schedule below).
Tuesday, May 19-Thursday, May 21: We'll follow the Awakening Project schedule, available here.
Friday, May 22: We'll head back to Auburn!
Housing: We will be staying on campus at Asbury University in rooms of two (you'll only be with another person from our group).

2) Pay your $100 fee by May 17th to guarantee your spot. Payments can be made online via our main Giving page by clicking here. Simply enter the amount of your payment and choose “Awakening Project” in the “Fund” dropdown box. If paying by check, please specify “Awakening Project” on the memo line and drop it in an Offering basket or get it to Campbell Smith.
3) Complete and return the Waiver & Release Form linked at the bottom of this page. Please download and print the “Embrace Church Waiver & Release” form and return it to Campbell Smith in person or by email at campbell@embraceauburn.org.
