EMBRACE KIDS
At Embrace Church, no one simply “serves” with Embrace Kids. Instead we “lead” our Embrace Kids on teams that are committed to know and love kids and their families in our church. There are many types of roles that people hold in doing this, allowing 6th graders all the way up through senior adults to lead in ways that suit their capacity and giftings. EMBRACE KIDS CHECK-IN TEAM
We want families with kids to feel safe and comfortable moving into their age-appropriate spaces. Our check-in team members seek to allow every family to be known and loved upon entry, for kids to transition well to their spaces, and for parents to know their children are secure.

EMBRACE YOUTH
The Embrace Youth team consists of adult leaders who want to invest in the lives of our 6th-12th grade students. Men and women serve on this team, engaging in roles such as leading activities, teaching lessons, engaging in small group discussions, and most importantly: just being with our young people. Embrace Youth meets each Sunday at 5:00 PM. This team requires a commitment to our Leadership Covenant, which can be viewed here.

WELCOME TEAM
Serving on an every other week rotation, our Welcome Team serves as the front line for welcoming guests to worship each week and making them feel at home. They also serve as a point of contact for anyone that might have questions while worshiping with us.

CAFE TEAM
Team members set up the coffee station in the lobby each week for our guests, and also assist with special events such as Sunday morning breakfasts and lunch fellowships. There is some set-up and clean-up involved before and after the service.

PARKING TEAM
Hospitality starts in the parking lot! The role of this team is to create a welcoming environment while safely directing people to the most convenient parking spots and managing traffic flow as guests enter and exit our church property.

SECURITY TEAM
The security team’s priority is to maintain a safe space for our church body to worship, valuing the safety of every person who walks through the doors at Embrace Church. Team members are on site every Sunday and are also present for different activities and events throughout the year.

PRODUCTION TEAM
This team handles all things related to production during our Sunday worship gatherings. Tasks include running the sound board, slides and cameras for in-person and online worship. Team members typically serve on an every 2-3 weeks rotation. Skill is required for these roles, but if you are interested in learning more, let’s talk!

WORSHIP TEAM
This team consists of the musicians and vocalists who steward musical worship during our Sunday gatherings. Skill is required for these roles, as well as a maturity to not “perform”, but to instead humbly lead others closer to heart of God as we worship Him together. Team members typically serve on an every 2-3 weeks rotation and these roles require a commitment to our Leadership Covenant, which can be viewed here.
