EMBRACE YOUTH WINTER WEEKEND
When: January 16-18, 2026
Where: Shocco Springs - Talladega, AL
Who: Any students in grades 6-12
Why: Many families take time every year to unplug, leave their daily rhythms behind, and spend time together. We believe that as a family of believers, we can model this too! Retreats create space for us to grow in our horizontal relationships with each other, grow in our vertical relationship with God, and grow in our awareness of His presence in our lives. These events create spaces for us to make space. To rid ourselves of distractions so that we may be filled with a greater revelation of who Jesus is. We believe that there is nothing better than His presence.
Cost: $150 per student (includes lodging, meals, transportation, activities, etc.)

When is the registration deadline?: The deadline to sign up is January 9th!
More Details:
Students can bring extra cash for snacks, merch, etc.
We will stay in a hotel style lodge with guys and girls separated by floors. Leaders will be present with students and attentive at all times.
Your students safety is our priority! We take extra measures to ensure the safety of all students and volunteers.
Students will be led by trusted, background checked adult volunteers as well as Embrace Church staff.
If cost is ever a barrier we would love to help! Our heart is that all students who desire to attend would be able to go!

3) Completing the Shocco Springs Waiver. Click here to fill out waiver.
4) Making your payment of $150. You can pay online on our main Giving page by choosing “Embrace Youth Winter Weekend” in the “Fund” dropdown box. Or, if paying by check, please specify “Youth Winter Weekend” on the memo line and drop it in an Offering basket or get it to Riley Phelps.
